Amal-type carburetor manufactured under license by Spanish carburetor manufacturer Arreche. The lightly adjustable 16mm version is ideal as an OEM replacement for standard and 50cc tuned cylinders. Many manufacturers use a restricted 13-15mm inlet on their carbs which is good for about 60kmh and is somewhat restrictive when carrying a pillion. Depending on the type of engine, a main jet change will be required. The carb mounts to the OEM inlet and thanks to its compact design, the OEM airbox may also be retained. An additional bolt in the base of the float bowl allows for quick and easy changing of main jets without having to remove the complete float bowl assembly. This carb is set up for the original choke cable.
