Important: The MVT-DD27 is not compatible with Yamaha DT, RD vehicles that have an AM6 engine installed!
Unlike other suppliers of internal rotor ignition systems, which are usually designed only for racing, the Spanish manufacturer MVT has integrated a light / charging coil. This means that this ignition system can completely replace the original ignition and supply the entire on-board electronics with power.
Through the lightweight inner rotor, the engine is much more agile, hangs much better on the gas and the idle is very stable. A lightweight inner rotor is strongly superior to the heavy original rotor in a 2-stroke engine and delivers the best performance with absolute reliability and everyday usability.
The Digital Direct ignition has a digital CDI with adaptive ignition timing adjustment and is therefore ideally suited for tuned engines. The MVT Digital Direct is mainly for racing use.
The MVT ignition generates from 8,000rpm 42kVolt ignition power and operates up to a maximum rotation of up to 22,000rpm with 2 sparks per rotation. Light output is rated at a measured 55W, which is a very good value for an internal rotor ignition considering the small rotor. A vehicle lighting matched to this provides sufficient driving comfort and safety.

MVT has successfully won many titles in the Spanish and French championships and is so confident in the quality of its products that all customers can have their Millennium ignition or any other MVT ignition repaired for life at a flat rate of 100â¬. No matter what damage it has suffered!
To take advantage of the conditions of the MVT charter, the entire defective ignition system must be sent to the manufacturer. If the ignition system is too old or too damaged, a new ignition will be issued at the flat rate of 100â¬, no matter what model of MVT ignition it is.
