BEARGRIP

Dear customers, 

we would like to introduce to you the products of BEARGRIP, originally from Holland, which we, Triumf professional tools Ltd., as one of the few hand-tool manufacturers in Slovakia proudly produce. 

It is very rare for a Slovak company to buy a company from a country like Netherlands. 

The company, BEARGRIP, was established in 1956 as an importer of tools from Asia to Netherlands. However, after the first delivery of Allan keys it was clear that the quality is not even tolerable to sell to the demanding customers and so, the owner with like-minded friends decided to produce the tools himself. A small group of enthusiasts started to plan the production and since 1957 to 2002 they produced Allen keys, various designs of T-wrenches and screwdrivers, screw bits packed in bit-block cubes and diverse Clip-pack bit sets. 

All the tools that BEARGRIP produced were of such quality that they have become well-known among ‘connoisseurs’. It didn’t end there, BEARGRIP’s reputation for quality became known worldwide, thanks to their riveting pliers. In the time of their greatest success, BEARGRIP produced 5,000 units of riveting pliers Model 802 each month. These riveting pliers can be found on all continents. It was a hard period for BEARGRIP with the change of the owner from 2002 to 2013. In that time, less production and less innovation meant that BEARGRIP was slowly diminishing and in August of 2013 was finally offered for sale. Triumf professional tools Ltd., as a long-term customer of the Dutch specialist tools manufacturer, decided to take this opportunity.

Thus, BEARGRIP became a part of Triumf professional tools Ltd. It was not an easy task to take over the production but we did not hesitate and in September of 2013, the first group of workers was sent in for training. By this time, BEARGRIP was our company in Holland and in the beginning of January of 2014, almost all of the production was already moved to Martin, Slovakia, where our company is located, and we could start the production with technologies that guarantee quality. Now, we offer these products to you at reasonable prices in an attractive packaging. Here in Triumf, we seek to minimise the loss of time between an idea and its implementation, proven by our constantly enlarging wide range of our own products and innovations. We bring world-class quality BEARGRIP products onto Slovak market, verified by decades of experience and thousands of hands. BEARGRIP continues in domestic sales, but also exports to 4 continents to customers who got used to using our products and cannot praise them more.
